Ruth and Tilly, have both forsaken their Amish upbringing and are happily settled in the "English" world. The sisters begrudgingly return home to celebrate their parents anniversary, but the troubled past haunts both girls as they seek for the answers they never found. Can the hidden truths bring healing and redemption to the shattered family, or will the past drive them all apart for good?
This was a great book! And it isn't often that I just love an Amish story, so many of them seem so similar or else entirely focused on romance. This was a very touching story about family, faith, and understanding. I definitely recommend this book to anyone. It is very clean, and should be very enjoyable even for younger readers.
I received a free copy of this book from Bethany House Publishers in exchange for my honest review.
