Rebel's Keep by Douglas Bond
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Brothers Duncan and Angus M'Kethe are still fighting to defend their family and friends against the blood-thirsty king of England. They will experience heart-break and loss, but they always trust in God.
This was a very emotional story describing an incredibly dark chapter in Scotland's history. I will not say it was an altogether pleasant read, it was much too sad for that. It was, however, an important look at what others have suffered for Christ and how precious the freedom that we enjoy today really is.
This was an exceptional book and I definitely recommend it to anyone.
