One Ring

Three rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Sevenfor the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

This is my ring ( my Precious!). It is made from
a homemade air-hardening clay, which is why it has a rough texture. You could make one out of polymer clay if you wanted a smoother surface. All you need to do is roll it out into a long strip, and join the ends to form a ring. Mine measures
about 3 1/2 inches in diameter, but you can make whatever size you like. Then you need to paint it. I used acrylic enamel paint, but gold spray paint should work too.  After the paint dries, it's time for the writing. this is the hard part! I wrote it with a magic marker, then painted over it.
After the paint dries, all you need to do is spray it with a coat of clear coat, and it's done. Set it up somewhere and enjoy it!
